Position Available: Part-Time Barista

Starting Pay: $8.50/hour (plus with tips, your hourly wage can then range between $10-15 per hour along with an opportunity to get a raise after your three-month review).

Experience Wants:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Customer Service Skills (must!)

  • Barista Espresso Machine Skills (not necessary, but preferable)

  • Owning or being around Cats (must!)

  • Can work weekday evenings (M-F: 2-8pm) & weekend availability (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Job Description: Come join our team and become a Purrista where you will have the opportunity to make fine espresso drinks, coffee/tea, and serve local goods to the public all while helping adoptable cats!

Primary Roles: We need a part-time shift person with mostly evening and weekend availability. You will be responsible for opening and/or closing the store and making sure the Front and Back of the House are cleaned and sanitized for our customers. You will be the face of Purrista when welcoming customers and checking them in for appointments/classes, or taking their cafe orders. You will need to fulfill their orders (heat up items, make drinks, etc) and answer any questions they have about the food, drink, and/or cat lounge side of things (you will be receiving extensive training on this by an already working employee or manager).
